Just a Reminder . . .

With just over a week left to the close of registration for The Great Ice Cream Run I just thought I would remind any stragglers that are putting it off till the last minute.

An extravaganza of MINIS, and ice cream, and driving, and ice cream and will surely be the event to attend in 2007!  The Great Ice Cream Run runs between June 9th and June 15th. it will wind its way from Sanford Florida to Bar Harbor, Maine stopping at only the best and the most classic ice cream shops on the way. 

Registration is now OPEN. Deadline for registering is March 30, 2007. You can download your registration form here.

The entourage will arrive in Bar Harbor the day before annual MINIS ON TOP so there will be plenty of time to make the drive over to NH for the  Friday/Saturday’s MOT festivities.

For those in the northeast, consider taking Amtrak’s auto train from Lorton, VA down to Sanford, FL. The cost of the train works out to be a pretty good deal compared to the cost of hotel rooms and gas. The Great Ice Cream Run’s organizers will be working with Amtrak to get a group rate, so check The Great Ice Cream Run website to see the latest info . . and hurry up . . . the registration closes March 30th 2007.
